New Equine Carriage ST Rolled Out by Equine Motorcoach

Horse Transport Company Continues to Respond to Equine Market Needs as the Market Leader (Louisville, Ky.) - January 14, 2013 - Equine Motorcoach™, the all in one RV and horse transport company, designed and manufactured a new horse transport vehicle to respond to the needs of show competitors and enthusiasts who are traveling with their horses. The first Equine Carriage™ ST rolled off the manufacturing line last week as part of the tow vehicle and transport line the company is growing. The tow vehicle is built on a 2013 Freightliner M2 106 350 hp Cummins with an Allison automatic transmission. The interior features a full shower, bath and kitchen area along with ample living and a high-end entertainment system. Two six-foot slide outs include a sofa and another sofa that covert into beds. This configuration gives customers the option of seat belting a total of eight people while traveling. A companion 5th wheel hitch with 2 5/16” ball and Class 5 tag hitch make the towing options the most versatile of any tow vehicle. The Equine Carriage ST can transport a gooseneck trailer, 5th wheel or bumper pull trailer. A rear camera assists with back up via an in cab monitor. A front cap is aerodynamic and the cab is outfitted with captain chairs that make long distance driving more comfortable. Cabinetry is a cherry wood with cherry stain and high gloss finish. The flooring is porcelain tile for a luxurious look, durability and easy cleaning. The vehicle is totally climate controlled and has a rear door for entrance and exit by the bathroom and shower, a must for the horse show. A 6,000 watt Cummins Onan generator, 50 gallon fresh water tank and 75 gallon holding tank provide for more independence on the road. Principals with Equine Motorcoach have spent the last five years showcasing its product at horse shows throughout the United States. “There is no substitute for being in the field listening and seeing what horse people want and need when they transport their horses,” said Tom Stinnett, designer and principal for Equine Motorcoach. “We have visited with thousands of people at horse shows that represent just about all of the disciplines and breeds. They continue to help us grow our line of vehicles that are geared to transporting horses in comfort as well as providing all of the comforts of home for the human cargo.” The time on the road has afforded the team the opportunity to view a wide variety of existing horse trailers, trucks and transports that are used in the equine business. “Interest and sales in the Equine Motorcoach are brisk, but there was still room to grow,” said Stinnett. “Many have made significant investments in horse trailers with living quarters and want to stay with that model of transport.” “We developed another way to do that with our Equine Carriage™ ST,” continued Stinnett. Equine Motorcoach and Equine Carriage ST are based at Stinnett RV in Clarksville, Indiana. The Equine Carriage will be showcased at the Louisville RV, Boat and Sport Show, January 23- 27 and plans are underway for both units to be back on the road at horse shows beginning in mid-February.
